Thomas Ambrose Bowen      1916-1982               Bowenwork™ is not a variation or adaptation of any other type of bodywork or healing art.  It is what Tom Bowen called his “gift from God”. It was developed through the intuitive and experimental process coupled with his keen sense of perception possibly enhanced by his near deafness.  There are numerous stories of how philanthropic Tom was with his time and skills. Working with prisoners, the crippled and children right to the end from his wheelchair after amputation from diabetes. I have been blessed to train with Ossie and Elaine Rentch who worked directly with Tom for many years and will defer additional information concerning his life to their firsthand experiences.  I hope that this web link to Bowtech will serve as not only an insight into his life and work but as a source for additional information.
